We're hiring developers to work in Ruby. Candidates with prior Ruby experience will be given extra consideration, but all candidates with a strong grasp of programming principles, particularly experience with other similar languages, will be viewed favorably.
RewardLoop is developing a cloud-based platform that takes customer loyalty programs (think Subway club card) online and in your pocket on your mobile device. We are unique in having developed a way of integrating with 85% and growing of existing POS systems without custom software integration. This capability is a game changer in the loyalty space. We're very proud of our product so far and are looking to improve it further.
We're looking for a great developer who is a native of the web, keeps up with the latest in web technologies, and knows the real world of deployment and scaling. The ideal candidate will enjoy co! ntributing to open source and have some projects under their belt that they are proud of.
Work with us out of our downtown Vancouver office located at Burrard and Hastings, close to the convention center and the Olympic flame.
About our Platform
Our platform is Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Redis on EC2.
We use best of breed services like New Relic and Sendgrid to support our service.
Most of us choose to develop on Macbook Pros.
