We're looking for a technically-minded individual who is comfortable working directly with our clients towards building amazing websites that meet their unique business needs. You’ll have Boston’s brightest developers on your team as you architect elegant, scalable, and robust websites and web applications for clients such as the Brookings Institution and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
The primary responsibility of the Web Solutions Architect is to turn client requirements into documentation that guides our development and quality assurance teams during the build. This is typically done by running meetings with clients, researching technologies and possible approaches, and documenting your decisions. While the build is ongoing, the solutions architect helps validate that the functionality developed meets the client’s needs and that documentation is kept up to date.
The ideal candidate is someone who has! coded in the past but does not want to be a full-time coder. You can think of this position as giving you magic powers to build websites by describing them in MS Word. We’re looking for someone who has prior experience with consulting and content management systems and who is ready to work with our clients right out of the gate.
But wait, there’s more! We offer a relaxed but passionate work environment. We’re located in the heart of Davis Square, where there are at least three places to get a decent burrito. We’re nice people. Business is great. And most of our clients are large non-profits with really interesting projects to tackle.
