Job opening - Software Developer at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Toronto, ON, Canada)

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide technical solutions required by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan to meet its business objectives. Contribute considerable amount of business and/or technical knowledge to complex projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Under general direction of a project leader or supervisor completes high quality, well designed and implemented software applications that make appropriate use of technology. 

Develop personal plans and the task details appropriate for completion of all work assignments.

Participate in the project planning of software development tasks, testing, deployment and on-going support.

Maintain currency in technological trends and directions through research and education.

Strive to evolve our technical environment and practices.

Other duties as assigned.
