Job opening - Lead Developer - Full Stack at True North Inc. (New York, NY)

Who We Need:     

We’re looking for a hands-on, well-rounded developer who:

• Is Great with front-end but comfortable in backend development as well.


• Can see a project holistically, not just as a series of dev tasks.


• Can reverse engineer a problem, meaning you can talk tech with a dev but can describe it to a client on their terms.


• Has good reverse engineering skills; able to look at code, or an API/Webservice and be able to figure out how it works and make it work for True North.

As the Lead Developer, you will oversee the execution of a variety of client projects including the technical functionality of all True North Digital Studio work prior to its release with typical projects ranging from online ad campaigns, landing pages, email production to website development.   Among the various chall! enges you’ll be charged with are:

• Exploring technical solutions to projects and making recommendations to team members.


• Managing junior development staff.


• Working with producers to outline functional specs and create test plans.


• Consulting on project scopes/timelines.


• Leading QA initiatives across multiple platforms.


• Investigating reported QA problems and troubleshooting/assigning issues to the appropriate team members.


• Updating and helping maintain bug-tracking systems, conducting verifications of bug-fixes and recording results.
