About the Role:
As a Database Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and distributing of information throughout WhaleShark Media. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and business intelligence analysts on a wide range of problems.
This position requires the Database Engineer to aid in the development of reporting structures and the management of data replication workflows. You will be expected to build and construct reporting models and structures, help define and manage the data workflows for available data and work with engineers on the collection and integration of new data into existing reporting structures.
Our ideal candidate for this role would have developed logical and relational data structures to report on billion row data sets, have managed ETL jobs/frameworks and have an excellent grasp of data manipulation best practices. They will also have strong ! experience with object oriented programming, domain driven design and service oriented architecture.
