CRS is looking for an experienced software engineer who wants the best of both worlds: the excitement and growth potential of a small startup with the stability and profitability of a stable company. We are a 7-year-old company in the midst of some exciting expansion. Our technology team is currently working on mobile web applications, new systems, and supporting new lines of business all while constantly improving the stability, security, and efficiency of our production systems.
Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and interested in taking responsibility for large parts of our applications. We need someone who has been successful at building scalable, maintainable, and extensible software platforms, preferably in PHP.

• Analyze - help gather requirements and work with product managers to refine them
• Design - create a workable model from the requirements
• Build - you'll ! be writing the most complex and crucial parts of the system
• Teach - mentor and guide the more junior team members

And now, the fine print. What you must have :
• 5+ years of experience developing Web applications.
• 3+ years of technical leadership roles.
• 3+ years of architecture experience with significant design responsibilities.
• Proficiency with UML, Object Orientated Programming (OOP) and/or design patterns.
• Experience developing interactive AJAX ! and Web 2.0 applications.
• Experience developing in a! team environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.
What we'd love you to have:
• Strong LAMP/LAPP knowledge (Linux, Apache, MySQL/PostgreSQL, PHP)
• Proficiency with frameworks, preferably Zend Framework. Previous experience with Java/Struts or ASP/.NET a strong plus.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, preferably EXT-JS (but experience with another JavaScript framework like JQuery or Scriptaculous is also OK).
• Comfort and ease using multi-editor source control systems such Subversion, Mercurial or Git.
• Comfortable developing on Linux using the Bash shell.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
