The Web Development Coordinator provides direction for development and maintenance of websites, applications, and databases for marketing at the Lory Student Center of Colorado State University. This is a year-round, full-time administrative professional position with full university benefits and reports to the Director of Marketing.
About our Department:
Part of the Division of Student Affairs at Colorado State University, the Lory Student Center is one of the busiest buildings in Northern Colorado, welcoming more than 18,000 visitors daily. Currently celebrating its 50th year serving the CSU community, the LSC is undergoing a revitalization that will be celebrated at the grand opening of its upgraded $5 Million Student Center Theatre this fall and continues w! ith a $65 million refresh in 2013. The Marketing Department works with numerous business partners, service partners, and student organizations within LSC.
Colorado State University hosts 26,000 students in Fort Collins, a city of 125,000, located 50 miles north of Denver at the edge of the Great Plains and at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new front-and back-end web applications and tools including student-focused websites, applications and mobile-friendly solutions to meet identified needs
- Integrate and expand solutions already in use including .NET content management systems and e-retail sites
- Us! e analytics to evaluate websites and leverage search engine op! timization for promotion
- Monitor websites for consistency, accessibility, and compliance with University policies and brand guidelines
- Plan, review, and evaluate web projects; maintain project calendar outlining milestones and priorities
- Coordinate with Academic Computing and Network Services (ACNS) and other network personnel on issues of hardware/software
- Provide excellent customer service to all levels of users and ensure timeliness and accuracy in providing web projects and resolution of problems
- Work in a changing, dynamic, and sometimes demanding environment
- Supervise a team of student workers
- Explore new technological avenues (opportunity to explore video production/multimedia, mobile application development, and social media outlets for interested candidates)
