BKWLD is looking for an experienced Rails web developer to work on a variety of sites from big to small. Your primary role will be creating the backend for sites and hooking up front end views created by colleagues to controller logic and database. You'll also implement CMSs where required, using a CMS we've built in house or perhaps implementing an out-of-the-box system if it is a better fit for the project.
We follow a service based, agency model and you will have the opportunity to build .coms for large companies as well as work on campaign initiatives for major brands. The project based nature of our business means that you can experiment with different frameworks, programming languages, and techniques, choosing the right tool for the job. Although you'll collaborate with developers of other specialties as well as our in house design team, you will still have opportunities to execute projects yourself, from soup to nuts.
