Our ideal candidate is a talented developer/architect with significant experience using PHP to create scalable consumer web sites. You’ve worked on great teams in the past and now it’s your turn to decide what makes a team hum. You are interested in becoming a founding team member and ready to be the technical leader of a startup building the next great e-commerce/social commerce brand.
This is a full-time position in our NYC office (Chelsea). Occasional telecommuting is fine, but this is not a telecommuting position.
We will hire our ideal! candidate immediately. We are a small, highly collaborative organization with a very collegial atmosphere and approach. The successful candidate will be capable of assuming a hands-on VP role immediately and show unambiguous potential for becoming CTO. When you are not building the team and defining the technical strategy, you will be helping code the next version of our product. You will play a major role in our success, lead and develop both the technology strategy and team, and be motivated by both a significant equity stake and an opportunity to build something great.
