The Totaljobs Group, the UK’s largest and fastest growing online recruitment advertising business is currently recruiting a Senior .Net Developer/Senior Web Developer to join our cutting edge technology team in London. The successful Senior .Net Developer/Senior Web Developer will be required to provide technical leadership within their allocated team. The Senior .Net Developer/Senior Web Developer will have strong experience in ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server and .Net Framework (MVC and Webforms). The Senior .Net Developer/Senior Web Developer will play a key role in one of our SCRUM teams, working closely with other Developers, QA, Business Analysts, Designers and User Experience personnel.

Key Responsibilities in the role of Senior .Net! Developer/Senior Web Developer:

• Providing a creative approach and clear guidance in defining product development solutions


• Explaining technical issues in a simple and concise way to Product Owners and key stakeholders 


• Promoting agile engineering practices such as Pair programming, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration


• Supporting collective management of technical risk


• Mentoring and motivating other team members


• Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

KEY TECHNOLOGIES AND WORKING PRACTICES:

• .NET 3.5 Framework (MVC & Webforms)


• XP engineering practices (Weekly Iterations, Pair Programming, TDD, Continuous integration)


• Automated test and build practices and relevant technologies (e.g. Webdriver, Sele! nium and Webinject)


• Development of applications ! using C#, ASP.NET IIS6 and SQL Server 2008
