We are looking for a Sales Engineer who will present, implement and optimize use of our innovative web performance management tools.  Our customers range from small-shop web developers to Fortune 50 CIOs.  You will work with all of them.

Responsibilities



  • Drive implementation and deployment of New Relic services

  • Lead customer presentations and demonstrations, virtually and on-site

  • Develop strong customer relationships and further penetrate major accounts

  • Respond to customer requests for additional services, ensure high customer satisfaction, continuing revenues, and account growth

  • Refine metrics and analyses for customer retention and account management (utilization, risk evaluation, etc.)

  • Contribute to creation of best practices and product ! innovation

  • Convey in-depth knowledge of all tech! nical aspects of New Relic’s products, architecture, and security

  • Very limited travel (5%)


Requirements



  • Five years as experience as a Sales Engineer, Consultant, or Support engineer in a software company.

  • Experience working with one or more of the following languages – Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, or Python.

  • Experience with virtual delivery of demonstrations and implementations

  • Experience with a SaaS delivery model is desirable

  • Experience with application performance management is highly desirable
