Our Technical Program Managers are responsible for managing multiple teams of engineers that build front-end and back-end solutions for the Seamless products and platform. These managers work with our cross-functional teams to ensure reliable delivery of these solutions in a fast paced, product oriented, e-commerce company. Te! chnical Program Managers interact with business & technology leaders, product owners, engineers, and users and must effectively communicate with each of these groups to aid the delivery of working software based on an understanding of business and technical priorities.
Technical Program Managers are responsible for the functional management of 5 to 15 engineers who can be employees or contractors. This includes mentoring, coaching, and removing roadblocks for the team’s success. They must be highly technical and become a trusted advisor to their teams and their project stakeholders. Technical Program Managers report to the Director of Software Engineering and participate in the planning and architecture of the department’s work as well as the management of teams working on one or more projects.
