The business causes a daily flood of transactional traffic at noon. Hundreds of thousands of shoppers compete online for the limited inventory, creating the need for a highly scalable and reliable web infrastructure. A Senior Engineer is responsible for developing business critical applications for Gilt’s customer and internal websites ranging from order processing to checkout and sale planning. The engineer will be contributing to and building on top of a rich service oriented platform.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design and implement services and administrative application features for Gilt Groupe
- Interface with external developers and technical resources to build and maintain systems integration interfaces with software systems at our distribution centers and external partners
- Interface with other teams on a daily basis, including creative and front-end engineering teams
