Bonobos is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer that will lay the foundation for its new Personalization and Merchandizing team.
Apparel ecommerce is currently the fastest growing segment of ecommerce, yet the user experience hasn't evolved significantly since Zappos introduced unlimited returns and free two-way shipping. Our team is going to change that and personalization and merchandizing algorithms are the key to doing so. Our job is to understand what motivates a customer to wear an outfit or buy an item of clothing. We use what we learn to develop new algorithms that allow our customers to find and discover new products that they will love.
As a senior member of our Personalization and Merchandizing team you will design the systems that will enable us to build and launch new algorithms in production and measure their effectiveness. These systems will be a combination of real-time recomme! ndation systems, data collection and offline builds. You'll work out of our new software product development headquarters in sunny Palo Alto.
