We are
- a disruptive travel technology start up focused on the most profitable segment of online travel. We are backed by some of the most experienced entrepreneurs in travel space and the CEO of one of the most profitable companies built in last 5 years in Silicon Valley.
You are
- an incredibly talented technology savvy business student either studying or graduated from one of the top 10 business schools in India, preferably from IIM Bangalore who is passionate about people, places and cultures. We are looking for someone who can research, aggregate, model and help develop market launch strategies for us ahead of our launch in few international markets.
Your job
- we are experienced in executing strategies that produce profits (not just generate eyeballs!) in a very large $2 trillion total travel market globally. With our guidance, we are looking for someone to architect the detail market plan country by country, partner by partner, and product by product without losing money from the very first month. We are looking for someone who can be very effective in leveraging the engineering capabilities to commercialize plans while conceptualizing tools and processes to deliver such capabilities.
Skills and Interests
- you must be incredibly savvy with internet research, data research, power point presentations, graphical presentations, data analysis, consumer internet measurement and monitoring tools. You must be aware of most financial metrics used to measure the marketing success, preferably with exposure in e-Commerce. You must be passionate about places and the diversity each place offers around the world.
Our status
- We are bootstrapping our engineering development within CBD in Bangalore and looking for engineers who are academically bright (IIT/ NIT) and have few years of serious work/project experience. All positions will start with generous equity and market based compensation upon completing the first round of financing.
Your status
- Your personal situation must allow you to take the start up risk – can work for no salary for up to six months and concentrate on high quality effort without much personal distractions. We prefer all staff to be full time and working under one roof. Until we are closer to the launch we are open to consider part time consulting/ internship position.
Work environment
- Our CEO, based in San Francisco has built awesome work culture and is an inspirational leader. Led under his guidance we are committed to build a very open and performance driven work culture. Initially we will have a small office. Upon financing we expect to build a nice family environment necessary to keep all of us motivated to build an awesome product - iMac with 27” monitors, ping pong table, food, snacks, access to the gym, laundry service, emergency pick up and drop off etc.
