What are you passionate about? We are building a social-coaching platform that helps people and coaches analyze, track, and improve skills (golf swing, muscle-up technique, crossfit, etc). We are doing to do to the world of coaching what GitHub has done to the world of coding.
We have started laying some code, but are early in the process. This is an opportunity for you to jump in on the ground floor, contribute to the design and implementation of the product. Oh, and you get to work with cutting-edge technologies like Scala, MongoDB, SBT, Twitter Bootstrap, to name a few! Ever wanted to work on your functional programming skills? This is the company for you. We like elegant, simple solutions to complex problems.
You should be comfortable picking up new technologies and programming languages and willing to get your hands dirty from day one. You should be at home working with git, submitting pu! ll-requests, and working with a team of other passionate developers. Additionally, you should be competent designing, implementing and optimizing new features/ideas on your own.
Initially, this is a work-from-home opportunity, so you'll need to be self directed and self-motivated. Of course, we do have regular in-person meetings (both for fun and productivity) with the CTO and other developers in Denver/Boulder, so you do need to be physically located nearby.
This is a full-time position. Compensation depends on skills and experience and will consist of salary and/or equity kicker.
