We're looking for a Sr. Software Development Engineer to help us execute on our vision and demonstrate a breadth and depth of technical knowledge, proven success working in a team and driving things forward, and exhibiting the ability to build good working relationships within the team by communica! ting clearly both verbally and in writing.
Specifically, you will:
Drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class user experience
Utilize user feedback and metrics to deliver rapid iterations of software features
Solve difficult problems by writing a lot of elegant and practical code
Define engineering best practices and provide technical mentorship to other members of the engineering team
Design how our components will integrate with other systems and work with those teams to create a smooth integration
Be responsible for designing, developing and deploying large scale systems working with all layers of the technology stack
Participate as an engineering leader in the larger group of Amazon.com companies
Be a champion for the user: Insist on the highest standards, create functional and engaging features, and ensur! e their needs always come first
