SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Esterline Advanced Input Systems, located in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom control panels for major OEM’s worldwide. As a subsidiary of the $2B Esterline Corporation, we offer excellent benefits and a competitive salary. Advanced Input has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer. Successful applicant must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience developing device drivers for various Linux configurations on standard and custom platforms (desktop, embedded, etc.).
- Experience creating and defining embedded Linux APIs/Frameworks.
- Experience with Video graphics drivers and/or USB Video Class.
- Experience with industry standard serial, Ethernet and USB interfaces, etc.
- Ability to design and analyze software for embedded systems using var! ious programming environments.
- Ability to produce general purpose, reusable software elements.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with customers, vendors, and factory personnel.
- Experience in directly interfacing with customers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Education/Previous Experience Requirements
Minimum BSCE or BSCS with 5 years of relevant product experience, MSCS or MSCE preferred.
