Locus Energy is a leading provider of monitoring and analytics for distributed renewable energy systems. We are a fast growing startup, and have offices in downtown San Francisco and New York. We are building a team of individuals who are excited about creating smarter software to reduce the cost of managing solar energy systems, and thereby accelerating the shift away from fossil fuels.
Locus Energy is looking for a talented frontend developer to join our team and help build out our platform. Our ideal candidate would possess both the aesthetic eye to design pleasing UI's as well as the technical expertise to build server side Lift/Scala code. If you find the idea of crunching energy and weather data and displaying it simply, cleanly and smoothly to the end-user exciting, we are looking for you.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build dynamic end-user interfaces (including data visualization), using HTML, CSS, Scala, and JavaScri! pt,
- Be a key part of the software development process, designing scalable frontend systems, and working together with an existing development team
- Provide input on emerging software technologies that the company could incorporate into the overall plan
