Successful startup seeks young developer


What we are looking for


            Join a small, successful startup founding team made up of a 6 time entrepreneur and a lead developer who has done everything from build out the comparison tools for MSN Money UK (which had 300k hits/day, just during lunch) to work on super secret stealthy stuff that he can’t even talk about. Our elite team is currently incubated within a private company, which was named Inc.’s 4th fastest growing software company in the US.  Our “Labs” team is conducting consumer research on several promising ideas that we plan to take to market- and we need your help.  We are looking for a young developer who is passionate about developing their programming skills, a great product and working for an impactful startup.

What the job will be like


Three scenarios that you may encounter during your time with us; how would you handle these?



  1. The team has been doing customer research and has some hypotheses they want to test, but they need you to create an initial prototype to test our assumptions.  This is your project, you will own it end to end; can you figure out how you want to set it up, run your thoughts past our lead developer, pick the best tools to use and actually build it out?

  2. You have been working with our lead developer, building out a scalable consumer facing product, but you just realized that there is a major bug in your code that affects millions of results.  You aren’t sure what to do, how will you handle it?

  3. You only have a experiencing developing web applications, but our consumer research has found that many customers would love to use a mobile application! .  You need to get ramped up on android development and c! reate an MVP in the next couple weeks.  How will you quickly ramp up on android and build an effective MVP?
