We are looking for someone with 7+ years experience managing medium size (7-15) distributed development teams in both the Waterfall and Scrum management methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage development expectations given ongoing resource needs and communicate these constraints to non-development departments within the company
- Direct involvement in project planning and resource allocation
- Direct ownership and oversight of the development teams, both in-house and abroad, working on numerous concurrent projects
- Make sure deliverable timelines are met, while iteratively & seamlessly integrating growing client or business demands into the project plans.
- Draft technical specifications and delegate development tasks
- Communicate ongoing project progress company-wide, to better accommodate marketing and sales integration
- Create ! operational documentation and troubleshooting guidelines
- Work closely with internal teams to deploy products into production systems
