Grooveshark’s New York based Digital Media Department is seeking a talented Technical Producer. As a part of the Grooveshark Digital Media Team, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale campaigns for some of the world’s top brands and agencies. We are seeking a Technical Producer to lead our tech-heavy projects and to help shape our global technology offering and strategy. The Technical Producer is expected to manage a team of front-end, back-end and interactive developers as well as balancing the creative and messaging requirements of our highly involved digital campaigns. The preferable candidate would be one with a solid background in development but who is now looking to move into a management/leadership role.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight of all technical aspects of our projects.
- Will work with a highly talented and capable team to realize multiple large-profile, high-budget, media! campaigns for Grooveshark and elsewhere.
- Work through an unexpected number of revisions to meet internal quality standards, client expectations, and expected messaging.
- Ensure projects are well-scoped, executed and delivered according to requirements.
- Communicate weekly with Grooveshark Product Development team to identify solutions to current projects as well as explore outlets for the inclusion and implementation of new media.
- Work with the Creative Director to identify and implement new, cutting-edge techniques.
- Identify issues before they happen as well as resolving technical hurdles.
- Responsible for code reviews of all projects.
- Delegate project requirements to team members and ensure expectations are met in a timely and effective manner.
