We are ready to hire our first, non-founder team members to help us develop the product, create value, and have a good time doing it.  You will be joining us at a very early stage and will have a significant contribution on our culture and direction.  

We are building a product that will change the way consumers interact with content on mobile devices by combining social media content with other digital activi! ty to create engaging, dynamic, and interactive experiences that delight the user, provide value, and make them want to return again and again.

Y! our responsibilities as our Backend Engineer:

C! ollaborate around the creation of new and existing features.
Create and maintain backend services and APIs.
Build scalable infrastructure to support fast growing product.


The experience we’d like to see from you:

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
Extraordinary software engineering talent: data structures, algorithms, design, extensibility, maintainability
Professional experience working with Python, MySQL, Java, Node.js, MongoDB, Cassandra, Apache, and similar technology
Understanding and vision in how to create scalable web architectures in the cloud
Expert ability to get things done with a small team.
Ability to scale a small startup to a high traffic web application.
3-5 years professional experience
Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.)
Experience with Amazon Web Services or Rackspace Cloud
! Bonus if you have an understanding of Hapdoop and Map/Reduce
