HHMI has an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint & .Net Developer to join our headquarters in Chevy Chase, MD.

In this role the SharePoint .Net Developer will develop, improve, and maintain SharePoint 2010 websites and related .NET applications to provide HHMI with a strong platform for information dissemination, application development/aggregation, and employee collaboration. The ideal candidate will provide full life-cycle support in the design, development, and implementation of Web-based software components. The SharePoint .Net Developer will work with the development team to design SharePoint sites, templates, and structures to document library taxonomies. The Developer will develop custom Web Parts and formulate best practices for developing future Web Parts to support user requirements. You will also provide analysis of emerging, web-related, and connectivity technologies.

We are looking for a person who is technology sav! vy, a team player and has a solid understanding of web applications using .Net and SharePoint 2010 technologies. The SharePoint .Net Developer must be able to hit the ground running, able to multi-task and communicate effectively.
