Shopify's merchants have bet their businesses on the security of our platform. This is why we're looking to add an experienced Security Operations Engineer to our operations team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tools to detect and respond to malic! ious activity such as DDoS attacks.
- Design, develop, and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Perform periodic security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Take part in incident response efforts.
- Coordinate with operations personnel and QSAs during PCI compliance audits.
- Proactively analyze and improve the organizations network security practices and procedures.
- Configure routers and firewalls.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
Desired Skills
- Detection and mitigation of DDoS attacks.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools.
- Experience working with QSAs through at least one PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider audit.
