Build Engineer
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Configure, set up and manage the automated build servers
- Work with developers to generate builds, merge code, and resolve merge conflicts
- Work with developers to ensure automated unit test suite is current
- Review broken builds and failed unit tests and work with developers to fix the build
- Move builds from development to QA. Track and communicate the available builds for QA
- Work with the system administration team, technical leads, and project managers to release builds to production
- Understand the Gateway EDI systems in order to understand impact of other production releases
- Sit on the release management board as a representative of Team Real Time
