We Need help!
Elexient is a small and growing software consulting company with lots of cool work on the backlog. We have numerous applications that we are constantly making better. We love making awesome software. It’s all about creating a rich user experience.
Our applications are heavy javascript so we are looking for somebody who loves writing applications in javascript from beginning to end. Of course, we have to feed our javascript some data, so we use ASP.NET for the server side of things.
Like most (good) software shops, we too have an in-house code library that we leverage for getting things done fast. Full disclosure though… it is not well documented. Good documentation is coming soon. We think it is really cool though. One neat thing that we do is use XHTML and add custom parameters to HTML elements that we then use javascript to bind data, editing options, ! validation options, etc. So we can create a very rich fully functional input form pretty rapidly. Another tool in our toolbox is a database-driven client-side loaded grid. It kinda works like the FogBugz Cases Grid. So, we can create Lists and List Reports fairly rapidly too. That only scratches the surface though. We need help to better mature our toolbox and possibly open source it one day.
We also develop websites in a home grown Content Management System built with ckEditor, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
We need your help developing new features, fixing bugs, organizing the toolbox, cleaning up code, developing reports, designing mockups, etc. You will touch on different applications and many technologies each week.
