RightNow Technologies is current! ly looking for an Systems Integration Developer within the Enterprise Systems Development Team. This individual will be responsible to design, develop and deliver technology solutions to integrate a variety of internal/external systems. In the design and delivery of these solutions, this individual will ensure improvements to Data Standards, Business Process and Technology.
As an early initiative, this individual will be instrumental in defining and implementing internal integration architectures for RightNow Technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and development of data integrations between disparate business systems
- Focus on reliability of integration processes and quality of integrated information
- Provide internal consulting around data standards, business process optimization and technology
- Provide guidance around effective and e! fficient software development practices and procedures to prov! ide maximum re-use of components, adherence to data standards and standardization of common business objects
- Lead internal projects related to the optimization of the Integration Platform
- Maintain, Support and enhance existing integrations
- Develop and maintain existing integrations
- Migration of existing integration services to new sources / targets as the technology ecosystem evolves
- Collaborate with project managers, business unit leaders, analysts, product development and Cloud Operations (hosting) team for enterprise-level projects
- Principal Accountabilities:
- 30% - Consultation, Architecture and Design of technical solutions with other RightNow Business Units
- 30% - Development of new Integration Solutions
- 30% - Maintain and support existing and future developed integrations
- 10% - Lead initiatives and p! rojects to improve the overall effectiveness of the integration platform
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 8+ years overall experience in Information Technology
- 5+ years Integration Development Experience
- Demonstrated breadth of experience with a variety of application technologies, development languages, system types (CRM, ERP, etc.), and platforms
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in understanding the business need, solid designs, articulating the solution, and delivery
- Demonstrated Practical experience in the following technologies:
- Experience integrating large data volumes
- Server-Side Scripting (Python and PHP preferred)
- Strong SQL Proficiency (Pr! eferably MS SQL or MySQL)
- SOA, XML, SOAP, WSDL
- Database Technologies and Architecture
- Windows and Linux Operating Systems
! - Enjoys solving difficult problems
- Experience with Big Data such as Hadoop a plus (HBASE, HDFS, Hive, etc.)
- Experience with ERP, CRM, and other financial systems
- Experience with Messaging Architectures on Large Volume Transactional Systems a plus
- Experience with Near Real-Time or Real Time Integrations a plus
- Experience with Data Warehousing (ETL) a plus
