The Team: Morningstar`s Software Division develops, markets, and supports all of our technology-based products and related services for institutions, advisors, and individuals. Key products include Morningstar Direct, a global research platform for institutions; Morningstar Advisor Workstation/Morningstar Office, a research and investment planning software platform for financial advisors; and Morningstar.com, an investment website with research, data, and tools for individual investors. We also offer custom technology solutions for enterprises looking for more unique or integrated solutions.
The Role: Morningstar`s Custom Solutions business is a fast-growing part of our Software Division. Drawing from capabilities throughout Morningstar, we provide our institutional clients with uniquely tailored software solutions. Our solutions range from delivering off-the-shelf core capabilities to providing completely new custom developme! nt. This role will be primarily involved in creating new software solutions that are developed to our institutional client`s specification. You will be involved in working with clients to understand their requirements, and will be part of a cross-functional team (product managers, project managers, designers, QA) that recommends and delivers a solution for that client.
Custom Solutions is a rapidly changing environment - a successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn, and will be a self-starter who is comfortable working on a highly collaborative team.
